We are happy to announce that we’ll be offering a free four-week Christmas Ukulele Workshop Series for Absolute Beginners to get aspiring ukulele players started for the holiday season with some music!

The workshop will be presented on Zoom. Below are the graduates of our first (20-Week) Zoom workshop series in 2021.

Cost: Free

Time: Saturdays, Nov 18 and 25, Dec 2 and 9, 2023. 10:00 AM–12:00 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada)

Registration: As with our 2021 workshop series, interested students are to register online to receive a unique login link for the workshop.

Requirements:
1. Must be committed to attending all Zoom lessons;
2. Must have access to a ukulele (which can be borrowed from
** Fraser Valley Regional Library (https://www.fvrl.bc.ca/ukulele.php); or
** Vancouver Public Library (https://www.vpl.ca/instruments);
3. Must have a digital tuner;
4. Textbook:
We’ll be using this book:
** “Ukulele for Dummies (2nd ed.)” (https://www.amazon.ca/Ukulele-Dummies-Alistair-Wood/dp/1119135974)
5. Computer with a camera and microphone to run Zoom
6. Access to a printer (optional but desirable)

This workshop series will start with the most elementary topics and are meant for absolute beginners.
